2020 Math Summer Camp

​Overview:

Join Mrs. Lupu this summer for two new programs:

Math Coaching Program: is designed to maintain and refresh knowledge learned during the school year 

Senior Math Summer Camp, Junior Math Summer Camp: are designed to consolidate and enrich math knowledge necessary for the next school year

Math Coaching Program : June 29th- July 24th (one month)

Offered for Grades: 1st to 7th 
WHAT YOU WILL GET:

• Guided practice/coaching camp: materials, customized instruction and practice provided weekly
• Private questions and answers - office hours, one hour a day  on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 11:00 am (live) for questions and answers using google meet
• Private messages answered daily (Monday-Thursday) from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm using google classroom (text)
• Price : $ 100 total cost  ( $25 per week) 

Senior Math Summer Camp: July 27-Aug.14 

Offered for Grades: 5th,6th and 7th
WHAT YOU WILL GET:
Daily Summer camp one hour/day, interactive : 30 minutes new material and 30 minutes practice/review from previous lesson - live online lesson from 10:00 am to 11:00 am as follows:

• Mondays and Tuesdays : 5th and 6th grade
• Wednesdays and Thursdays : 7th grade
• Fridays off
• Private questions and answers - office hours using google meet (live) one hour a day from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm open for all grades
• Private questions via google classroom answered daily to all students from 1:00 pm -2:00 pm

• Price : $180 total cost ($60/week)

Junior Math Summer Camp: July 27-Aug.14 

Offered for Grades: 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th
WHAT YOU WILL GET:

• Guided practice/coaching camp: materials and customized instruction and practice provided weekly
• Private messages answered daily (Monday-Thursday) from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm using google classroom (text)
• Price : $ 75 total cost  ( $25 per week) 

Schedules:

Coaching: June 29- July 24

Offered for grades: 1st-7th

• Tuesdays  10-11 (live) google meet for answer and questions
• Thursdays 10-11 (live) google meet for answer and questions
• Monday-Thursday: (text) Private messages answered daily from 11:00 to 12:00 (text) using google classroom

Senior Math Summer Camp: July 27-Aug.14 

Offered for Grades: 5th,6th and 7th

• Monday and Tuesday : 10:00 am to 11:00 live , 5th and 6th grade, online lesson using google meet
• Wednesday and Thursday: 10:00 am to 11:00 live ,7th grade, online using google meet
• Monday- Thursday: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm( live) , office hours using google meet one hour a day open for all grades
• Monday-Thursday: 1:00 pm-2:00 pm (text), Private questions via google classroom answered daily 
• ​Friday : off 

Junior Math Summer Camp: July 27-Aug.14

How does it work?

If you would like to enroll in online summer camp please follow the steps below:

• Complete the registration form under the summer camp tab, and pay for your selected camp using the PayPal button at the bottom of the page, camp materials and services will not be provided without payment!

 

• https://promath.weebly.com/  will be used as the Coaching and Math Summer Camps (Junior and Senior)  official website
• [email protected] will be used for google classroom and communication. Live meetings and office hours included.
•  SaintGeorgeMathSchool  YouTube channel will be used for instruction
• Everyday, using google classroom, students will practice the topic of the week. Only few problems will be assigned per day. Extra practice will be offered as well.
• Problems completed by students will be turned in via Google Classroom to the teacher for corrections and feedback. Extra practice for each topic can be assigned by request.
• An invitation to use google classroom will be sent to your email address once you are enrolled. 
• Please note: You need to have a google email address(account) in order to be able to participate in google classroom.
• ​All the details of how to access the google classroom will be sent in an email once you are enrolled.
